the rocking horse

This play centers around a magical rocking horse named "Blackie" and his 10 year old master, Jackie. Blackie talks, but no one can hear him except his master. One day two punks confront Jackie and his sister in front of their house. Blackie transports Jackie to a magical candy land where he learns about how to handle "problem-folk" through a situation that arises between the candy bars and "Castor Oil." A surprise ending captures the hearts of all, and the audience is invited to sing along in a musical expression of joy.
